We offer a collection of good quality affordable cars that come serviced and with a new MOT , a 3 month standard warranty (extended warranties from 6 to 36 months are available please ask for details). Owners of their new vehicle are also entitled to a free MOT next year subject to conditions.

We can provide servicing & maintenance for all makes of vehicles, even new vehicles which are still under warranty. parts used are O.E quality parts or original equipment, we also have loan vehicles so you can carry on with your day. Our specialist MOT testers will ensure your vehicle is fully inspected and meets the safety requirements, set out by the Driver & vehicle standards agency ( DVSA).

Conditioning
Your air conditioning system can lose 10-15% of its refrigerant every year. A poorly performing system can cause build up of fungus and bacteria inside the evaporator causing unpleasant odours and possible allergic reactions. Refrigerant carries oil that lubricates the system but over time some of this oil is lost causing costly repairs if left unchecked. Corner garage have the facilities to test and repair all Air Conditioning units.

Situated on the B1456 the main road through Shotley, Corner Garage established for many years was taken over by Nik and Trish Butler in 2002 and since then has built up a high level of trust from the local community for repairing and maintaining their vehicles without the main dealer price tags. With dealer level diagnostic computers we can offer fault finding for engine management, airbag, A.B.S and general electrical problems. Air conditioning repairs and regas systems, welding, tyres and puncture repairs.
When Which? Carried out a survey in 2012 `more customers were satisfied with independent Garages than franchised (main) dealers when their vehicles were serviced or repaired.

Under E.U block exemption legislation a manufacturer cannot force a buyer to have their car serviced by their official dealership network and cannot refuse to honour a new car warranty simply because a car has been serviced elsewhere. So when we service your new car or van which is still under manufactures warranty we adhere to their service schedules, fit original or O.E parts and give a detailed invoice for your records. So yes we can service your new car!
